Why Study God’s Word Eagerly? 72 Reasons You Should
- Summary: How important is it that we study God’s Word, the Bible? Urgently so! Ignorance of the Scriptures is a fast track to a defeated life with no sure foundation. There are dozens of good reasons to apply ourselves diligently to the Scriptures. The benefits are immense. I’ve listed 72 of them briefly below (there are many more). My desire and prayer is that they will bless you and encourage you to deeper study of God’s holy Word.

John 5:24 [Jesus said] “Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him [God] who sent me [Jesus] has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life.”
James 1:18 He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of all he created.
