6 Absolutely Free Gifts of God That'll Change Your Life

by Pastor Jim Feeney, Ph.D.

Summary: God is abundantly generous to those who love and serve Him. You can receive His bountiful blessings. Come see some of the priceless yet free gifts of God to you.

1) Eternal Life - You’ll Never Perish

Romans 6:23, ESV  For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

John 10:28  I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish.

John 3:16  God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son [Jesus], that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

2) Answers to Your Prayers

John 15:16  [To those who follow Him Jesus said] “…whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.

Matthew 7:11  If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!

3) Rest and Peace for You in This Troubled World

Matthew 11:28  [Jesus said] “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”

2 Thessalonians 3:16  Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way.

4) Daily Provision, Your “Daily Bread” from God

Matthew 6:11, NASB  Give us this day our daily bread.

Matthew 6:31, 33  So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ … [33] But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

5) Truth for Victorious Living in God’s Word, the Bible

Psalm 119:105, 130  Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path… [130] The unfolding of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple.

John 8:31-32  “…If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”

6) God’s Holy Spirit Power in You

Acts 1:4,8; 2:4  [Jesus said to His followers before He returned to heaven] “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised … John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit … [8] you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth” ... [2:4] All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.

Acts 2:38  Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit."

2 Timothy 1:7  For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power

The apostle James spoke of “every good and perfect gift” proceeding to us from God (James 1:17) — far more than we’ve listed above, where we’ve barely scratched the surface. God freely offers you salvation, divine healing, deliverance, freedom from addictions, His wisdom, answers to prayer, and so much more.
