Executing Babies | America’s Heartless Fall into the Barbarity of Modern-Day Child Sacrifice

[2022 edit: Breaking News, June 24, 2022] Today the U.S. Supreme Court overruled the 1973 Roe v. Wade Supreme Court ruling that had declared abortion to be a constitutional right. You may read details here.

Summary:  In a newly-packaged form, America is resurrecting a monstrous child sacrifice savagery practiced by some of the ancient nations. One example from the ancient world was the ritual of placing babies sacrificially into the red-hot, super-heated arms of the large demon-idol Moloch. Our modern American culture approves and practices a similarly hellish execution of the most innocent among us, that is, helpless babies in the womb of their mothers.

What should be the safest place on earth — a mother’s womb — has become in America a death chamber for more than 60 million American babies since the infamous 1973 Roe-Wade Supreme Court ruling. With the passage of some recent state laws, innocent, almost-born babies can be painfully executed in some states right up to the week of their expected birth.

If you don’t believe in God or the Bible, perhaps you’ll decide to stop here. The comments I’ll offer from God’s Word in the Scriptures may not be meaningful to you. But that won’t change the fact that there is a true God, and He has revealed Himself in 66 books collectively known as the Bible. God has spoken very clearly in the Scriptures about His outlook on human life, and especially the life of the most innocent among us.

I won’t repeat ground I’ve covered elsewhere. Rather, I encourage you to check out articles I’ve written on what God’s Word the Bible says of relevance to the prolife-prochoice debate:

1) Are preborn children fully human, and should they be called “babies”? — Fetus in Utero or Unborn Baby? 'Fetal Tissue' or Unborn Child?

2) What does the Bible say of relevance to the pro-life versus pro-choice debate? — Pro-life or Pro-choice? Why I Choose Life Over Abortion

The pro-choice movement is a culture of death by abortion. They are not protesting and lobbying for a choice for life. State and national laws already provide Americans the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness — the famous wording of America’s 1776 Declaration of Independence. These, the Declaration asserts, are “inalienable rights.” The “rights” the pro-choice advocates are seeking are not rights to life (which are already guaranteed). No, their relentless, remorseless quest is 100% focused on securing rights to choose death. Not death for themselves, but death by abortion for innocent, helpless babies in the womb.

President Donald Trump, in his 2019 State of the Union message, wonderfully declared, “All children — born and unborn — are made in the holy image of God.” He is exactly and biblically right! May his bold declaration and its support in God’s Word capture the hearts of the American people. It’s time for an end of America’s inhuman, heartless fall into the barbarity of child sacrifice by abortion-on-demand. May America’s people be stirred to embrace God's love for the most innocent lives among us — the precious unborn babies who represent the future of our great nation.
